Hakuhodo, founded in 1974 in Kumano, an area steeped in centuries of brush-making tradition, crafts some of the world's finest makeup brushes. Revered by makeup artists and beauty enthusiasts, this large workshop produces around 500,000 brushes monthly, blending efficient production with traditional techniques – all brushes continue to be hand-crafted. Their consistent quality has earned recognition from the Japanese government – the Prime Minister's Monodzukuri Japan Grand Award.
