Revered by makeup artists and beauty enthusiasts, this large workshop produces around 500,000 brushes monthly – all hand-crafted. Blending efficient production with traditional techniques has enabled Hakuhodo to become a preeminent name in Japanese makeup brushes worldwide, and their consistent quality has earned recognition from the Japanese government – the Prime Minister's Monodzukuri Japan Grand Award.

S100 VERMILLION SERIES
Hakuhodo's flagship brush collection, the S100 Series is crafted from the finest natural bristles and wooden handles finished with rich vermillion lacquer, a traditional Japanese color. The ferrules are plated with 24k gold, then protected by a clear scratch resistant coat. Each brush is designed to be sumptuous to look at, as well as to hold and use.
G SERIES
The brushes in Hakuhodo’s G Series feature many trend-setting brushes, such as brushes combining natural bristles, various liquid foundation brushes, easy-to-use eyebrow and lip brushes.
J SERIES
Hakuhodo’s J Series are characterized by their radiant undyed natural white bristles. Each brush is made with thoughtfully designed shapes – many new and innovative shapes – and carefully selected the materials. The bristles of this brush range provides moderate resilience and produces excellent color payoff.
