For the price, I think this is a great face brush. It looks very expensive and I love the feel of the handle. I think that the bristles can be a little scratchy but the type of hair is good for picking up pigments and will hold up to washing.
Nothing better for travel when you want perfect coverage and portability. So sad that these brushes have been discontinued. I haven’t tried their replacement, partly goat hair and partly synthetic.
The bristles are soft and very dense. The handle itself is comfortable to use. I use it to apply cream bronzer. But I am considering whether to buy a second one for make-up. It is definitely not only a great brush, but also a very beautiful one! Since trying hakutotsuho goat hair, I don't want anything else.
I use this brush to apply foundation on my face. It blends well and no striking during applicaton
I've given this a high rating because it's very good at what it does - I use it to apply liquid foundation and buff in for a smooth flawless finish. The brush is small, more akin to mens' saving brush, but it's got a good weight to handle which has a lovely green glitter finish. The brush is very dense, tightly packed undyed goat hair, with the ferrule slightly pinched to keep the hairs more compact. I will say that it isn't the softest brush I own by any means so if your skin is dry or sensitive, be gentle with the buffing motions.
