A very soft blending brush. Works well for smaller eyes.

More of a packer than blender brush

This brush is a little different from other blending brushes in the MAC 217 style; It's not as fluffy and the bristles don't splay osut in comparison. This is not to say that brush is scratchy at all. It allows you to pack on color and even place color in the crease. You can do a bit of blending, but more in a focused area. If you are looking for a traditional blending brush you might be disappointed. I posted picture comparing it to the Wayne Goss 18 which is slightly more compact and tapered than brushes in this style.

The best

I own many brushes from different brands. If I had to choose just one brush to use for eyeshadow, this would be it. Although I would not like to be without the Chikuhodo Z10 also (I use this for application of definition colour and light shading under eye). Great size and length (I don't like too long a handle, as then gets in way if you need to look close in mirror). The hair is perfectly soft, but not that it has no substance that it does not blend eyeshadow well. Consider a good goat hair brush like this if you also like to use cream eyeshadow. Pure squirrel brush hairs can be ruined by creams and I have found that although incredibly soft, squirrel is not always the best for blending on the eye - but it is good for gentle soft lay down of colour. This brush is a very good price for such impeccable quality.
