Magnificent Brush

This is an amazing powder brush. You don’t even fell it on your face. I have sensitive skin and this is like a feather across my face. So very soft. Glad I decided to get it.

The overall impression is a bit of low

after reviewing so many comments and search the videos online which are related with this beautiful brush and finally i made my purchases. Not sure why, but the brush which i received is a bit of messy, the brush hair are drops so quickly. The density of hair is also not as described. The overall shape of my brush is not what i saw on the pictures. I had purchased CHIKUHODO brushes before, but this is the first time i wish i could return it. Since there is no phone number that i can contact with and all the process i have to went through i probably just keep this brush with me. I love Japanese make-up brushes, wish next time they could check properly every brush before they get delivered.

This is A High Quality Brush

What attracted me most to this brush is the Cherry Blossom design on the handle. In my humble opinion, the Chikuhodo MK-2 has the best Sakura design painted on a brush handle so far. It is intricate and it captures the sublime beauty of a Sakura in bloom. The handles of this brush is shinier that that on the MK-UM brush - which adds some dimension to the brush design. The brush head design is round and flat BUT it appears to have a more "paddled" shape. It is very soft, but resilient enough to pick up colors from pressed powders - may they be bronzers, blushes or finishing powders. The bristles are dense, but airy - which does the job of applying a "diffused" with out the need of extensive blending. I like using this brush to apply loose powder pigments especially with my Guerlain meteorites. This brush is worth its price. I just wished Chikuhodo had a Rose Gold box for this to add to it's luxurious feel.
