Koyudo released several new brushes in Spring/Summer 2021, so we collaborated with Alicia Archer (aka Kinkysweat) to intro and demo them. Koyudo are a Fude brand from the famous brush-making region of Kumano. They're known for a wide range of styles, from the cute Fupa range of brushes for foundation and liquid/cream products, to upmarket their brushes decorated with traditional Makie design.
In this video, Alicia profiles the La Fuga del Gato series and Yoshiki Superior series.
La Fuga del Gato is a vegan series made with a new fibre developed by Koyudo to mimic the feel and application of natural bristles. It comes in seven different brushes and a set.
Yoshiki Superior series is a collection of three eye brushes, two for eyeshadow and one for the brows. The eyeshadows feature a unique tapered end and use tanuki bristles, with good product pick up and can be used for cream eye products as well as powder.
