I was late to the Raden game and missed out on the previous design. Having said that, the new petal inlay is still lovely. The iridescent colours from the petals are so pretty. The brush itself is a dream for applying product and it being kolinsky hair makes it easy to wipe clean. Customer service is excellent. I move between two separate residences and coordinate as to where they ship based on when the package goes out. They are very accommodating.
I have the cheek and face brushes. They are so unique and beautiful (I have nothing else like them in my collection). Kolinsky bristles have so many advantages, such as working with liquids and powders, being super resilient and long-lasting. I usually use them for applying powder in sticky base and liquid blushes. They are also super easy to dry clean, even after using liquid products. I do think the size difference between the cheek and face is very small, so I would recommend the cheaper one.
