Fude Beauty Makeup Challenge
share your look for a chance to win!
The Fude Beauty Makeup Challenge is a regular competition celebrating Japanese culture and Fude brushes. The challenge is to create a makeup look based on a theme related to a Japanese seasonal color or cultural event. The prize is a different brush each time, with the winner selected by random draw.

Known as ‘eto’ or ‘junishi’ in Japanese, the Chinese zodiac system was introduced to Japan around the 6th century. Japan follows the 12-year cycle of the Chinese traditional lunar system, with each year represented by an animal. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger (‘Toradoshi’), a symbol of strong spiritual power and vitality, and courage to stand up to anything. This year in particular is a special tiger known as ‘mizunoe-tora’, which only occurs once every 60 years, and is particularly associated with new beginnings and growth.

how to enter
(1) Create a look that incorporates the color or theme of the month (sakura!)– it can be with eyeshadow, graphic eyeliner, colored lashes, bold lips, blushed cheeks... whichever!
(2) Post your photo to Instagram and follow these steps:
+ post with the hashtag #fudebeautymakeupchallenge
+ Tag 2 friends
+ Note at least 1 Fude brush stocked by Fude Beauty that you used to create your look (you can browse our collection here)
+ sign up to the Fude Beauty newsletter (if you haven't already!)
(3) Entries close March 31st 2022, and 1 entry will be selected at random and announced by April 2nd 2022. The draw will be selected with Arbitery, and the winner must meet all requirements on Step 2. See the full Terms & Conditions.
